I hate Comp-USA. I just found out my Dantz Retrospect is 4.3. I just bought it a month ago. I resolve to only download software directly from the manufacturer! The McAfee I bought from CompUSA earlier this year was 3 years old.
Sigh. Trust no one, especially in the PC world.
2003 Zagat guide for SF is out. They now quit trying to have a SF, North, South section, which is good since some Marin were in SF, some were in North.
8/23: Got to Apple store at 10:10, line then went around University and wrapped around for two more full blocks. I did not see Jobs, but the RDF must have been working or I would not have been in line!
When people stopped cars and asked what was the line for, someone starting saying "Britney Spears tickets"
Little punks (9-10ish) were skateboarding along drinking from 2l Coke bottle. one pass he shouted "f*ing nerds, Macs suck" to which an enligtened debater from the crowd responded that "I may be a nerd, but I can still kick your ass!" A later pass he said "Macs will ruin your life" to which someone in the crowd mused "how would we tell?"
